About us

StartupTV is an educational and fun show on the tech world with a focus on the San Francisco Bay Area startup ecosystem. Our programs are aimed to inspire a new set of global entrepreneurs who will one day embark on the creation of their own venture. We interview startup industry leaders who can provide entrepreneurs insight on how to overcome challenges and learn what it takes to succeed in a new venture. Meet Co-Founder Tiffany Bass Bukow tiffany_bb Tiffany Bass Bukow is a serial technology entrepreneur and founder of companies that help entrepreneurs accelerate their businesses and empower people to personally thrive. She served for 14 years on the Advisory Board of the business accelerator Astia and coached dozens of their women technology CEO’s who have raised over $1 billion in funding. Tiffany is also a frequent panelist at venture capital and startup conferences and a startup judge for Startup Chile, Startup Farm Brazil, LATAM Startup Challenge and Astia. Tiffany’s personal finance company MsMoney.com educated over 10 million people, her positive TV company Thrive Media was sold to Viacom and her technology accelerator FloripaTech coached over 100 engineer entrepreneurs.

Often called “Ms.Money”, because she is a passionate advocate for financial health, Tiffany is a sought after guest by television and radio shows and has appeared in hundreds of articles including Fortune, Forbes, Time, Business Week and USA Today. She hosted a pilot for a money makeover reality TV show in London called Live Your Life at Half the Price. She was a monthly guest money expert for the live TV show Call for Help; broadcast in 40 million households in 70 countries. Tiffany’s was featured in a TV segment on financial tips, called Prescription for Financial Health; broadcast in 250 local news markets and 80 million households. She also appeared on ABC News with Peter Jennings, the PBS News hour with Jim Lehrer, PBS’s Digital Think, and on CBS News. Tiffany was a host for Sony’s Redband Radio Money Talk Show for a year. She wrote a monthly column, about teaching people how to thrive in their lives, which was read by 200,000 newsletter subscribers and also published by ABCNews.com and reached millions more. Her writings on what it takes to succeed and have it all in life were also published in a book: What it Takes to Succeed and Have it All.
