About us

Tiffany Joy Basse is a socially conscious entrepreneur whose mission is to help people THRIVE. She is the CEO of financial empowerment company  MsMoney.com and co-Founder of the mindfulness app Mindrise.

Tiffany started her first technology business when she was just 27 years old. She hired 20 people and secured five Fortune 100 clients in the first year including Bechtel, Sun Microsystem, AOL, Microsoft and Xerox.

Tiffany raised $2M+ in funding for MsMoney.com at a $10M valuation and made $1M in the first year of business. At one point she was worth $8M on paper by the age of 33. She hired and managed a staff of 30 employees and 70 contractors. MsMoney.com educated millions of women with a 1,000 page financial empowerment website. She also built the Wells Fargo Website and financial education center, which reached 10 million people


At her third company,Thrive Media, she produced uplifting well-being TV shows and created a life-affirming brand that she sold to Viacom in 2007. Her next startups, StartupGo and Floripatech, incubated and advised some of the most successful Brazilian tech startups when she lived in Brazil. Her company StartupTV interviewed billionaires on their success tips for first-time entrepreneurs in her StartupGO program.

For over 10 years, Tiffany has been on the board of Astia, since she was the first women-led technology company incubated there. Astia has helped women entrepreneurs raise over $1B in business funding. Tiffany is also a frequent panelist at venture capital and startup conferences and a startup judge for Startup Chile, Startup Farm Brazil, LATAM Startup Challenge and Astia.

Her businesses have impacted the lives of millions of people and she hopes to empower millions more throughout the years. She has been featured in Forbes, Fortune, Business Week, TIME, Wall Street Journal, USA Today and CNN. She was also a frequent guest on TechTV, had a Sony radio show on money, her writing has appeared on Disney’s Family.com and ABCNews and she was a featured writer in the book How to Succeed and Have it All.
